Hey, has it already snowed?
If there is no real snow outside, ensure that it looks like Christmas in the Wichtelwelt. You can easily take flour or artificial snow that you can buy anywhere at the moment. Cut out a lane and put them on the way to the door and then sprinkle the "snow" there. When you collect the traces with tweezers, it looks like the gnomes have gone through the snow.
I certainly don't need to explain the broken sled today, each child gets the three parts together.
