The artwork "Minerva - Goddess of Wisdom" shows a fascinating and symbolic depiction of the Roman goddess Minerva, who is revered as the patron saint of wisdom, art and crafts. In a golden cage made of filigree struts, which with its round shape looks like a mixture of a cage and a reliquary, the bust of the goddess stands in an artistic arrangement of plants and flowers.

The sculpture itself is in earthy, patinated tones reminiscent of antique marble and conveys an aura of antiquity and eternity. Minerva holds an organic-looking brain in her hands, which not only serves as a symbol of intellect and wisdom, but also, through its organic decoration, illustrates the connection to nature and growth. Surrounded by a small garden decorated with delicate flowers, Minerva seems to be lost in quiet contemplation.

The golden cage that surrounds the sculpture can be interpreted in different ways: on the one hand, it could symbolize the protective function of wisdom, on the other hand, it points to the limitations that often accompany knowledge and intellect - a captivity in one's own thinking or societal expectations.

This 20 x 30 cm artwork invites the viewer to reflect on the duality of protection and limitation, of wisdom and isolation. "Minerva – Goddess of Wisdom
